Independance Happy 4th Rodeo and fireworks WOW

If you are out west how do you spend the 4th. Well at the Rodeo of course.  It was pretty entertaining with the Clown and they keep the kids interested with free candy and little toys and beads thrown every so often. One of the things was called one boot drop or boot race something like that where they have the kids take one boot off & place them in a big pile at one end of the arena. They have to run down, put on their boot back on & run back. Boy oh boy there were some really dirty socks that night. We saw many events riding the wild horses, calf tying, team calf, and also of course bull riding ending with a beautiful sunset and then fireworks. Long day remember we did the sunrise that morning was up at 4:45 so by 11 we were ready to call it a day.

Then the clown jump, I think he's a little big for it. Oh well he made the jump just fine.
During the event they used the John Deere to smooth out the arena, Steve said its the western idea of a zambonie. Then a nice Sunset.
